We are very excited for this coming year’s bucks for several reasons. Will be seeing our first kids out of Ozark Apache who is legendary for putting the meat on his kids with superior growth (average daily gain) and muscling. Will expect to send several of his kids to the Maryland buck test to put his genetics against the best. We are confident he will perform.
Also, we participated in a flush with Blue’s Son on two of our best does. This should give us several outstanding options for those looking to add this top genetic line. We also are hoping for kids out of our Loverboy flush over an Iron Horse x Lightnin daughter. Stay posted, there won’t be many of these for sale. We are expecting our flush kids February 10, 2016! Fingers crossed!
We are well into kidding season at PRG. Laura and I have decided to post the bucklings as they kid out. We just get so excited! But we are very particular about which bucks we sell for herdsire so, so they won’t all be available for sale. In fact, only a select few will make the grade. The rest will make their way into the food chain. Our weaning dates for this year will extend through June, so as we get into June, we will know exactly which of these does will be available. In the meantime, enjoy the eye candy.
